Jayson Rivas
BOARD MEMBER
BIO
Jayson is a Christ follower, husband, father, grand-father (they call me papa), Green Beret, veteran, musician, photographer, and entrepreneur. I’m older than I look and occasionally act younger than I should.
I’ve been married to Heather, my best friend for 23 years, and we have six kids. Yes you heard that right, three boys, three girls, a Texan for a son-in-law, and two beautiful grand-daughters. We homeschool, do Crossfit, and run JHR Photography together. And we used to own a Mexican restaurant too...well dinner time was run like a restaurant around our house.
With 20+ years in the military I deployed a lot, while I was gone, Heather didn’t just hold the fort down, she crushed it!
With all those kids, sports, and traveling the world I took a lot of photos. It reached a point where Heather said I can't buy any more toys unless I figure out how to pay for it. So JHR Photography was born.
As a soldier and father of six, I know how quickly years can pass by and how important photos become. So with a bit of practice and strategic collaboration with like minded photographers and talented creators, JHR quickly became a photography leader in Middle Tennessee.
I specialize in headshots, seniors, and commercial photography, and in 2021 we launched a second photography brand, ISO Photo XP specifically for sports and volume photography.
Our whole mission is to use our God given talents everyday in photography, business, and relationships to help others succeed. I look forward to meeting you.
